Dropcity, conceived by architect Andrea Caputo in 2018, is imagined as a hub for exploring alternative design and architecture amidst global crises. Scheduled to open permanently in the fall of 2024, the venue located at Via Sammartini, from Tunnel 38 to Tunnel 60 will host a variety of exhibitions, installations, lectures, and workshops. Wellness company Technogym (find more here) presents the Design to Move exhibition to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Technogym, showcasing 40 unique Technogym Benches created by 40 world famous artists and designers. Birgit Lohmann and Massimo Mini, founders and former directors of designboom, introduce NOT COMPROMISED, an exhibition that ventures into new societal paradigms through art, architecture, and design. Under the direction of Pietro Mini, the show unfolds at Liceo Classico Parini in Milan, inviting the public to explore unconventional perspectives on sustainability, including an outdoor furniture collection made from elephant dung by Boonserm Premthada.
