Even though my dad was negative, they still had a quarantine. It was very limited, and I was only able to see him and say hello through the window. We talked with people and a doctor, and they all talked about their game plan and that he would be reevaluated in three weeks. If I call and ask the social worker to call me back because I have a concern, she always calls me back within twenty-four hours. She tries to answer my questions as best she can. His room has a television, a bed, and a bathroom — nothing extraordinary, but definitely clean.

The rehab staff Jennifer and Rick had him up and walking in a very short time. I visited each day and brought him dinner because I felt he would recover quicker with home cooking. However, I have no complaints about the kitchen staff. They were always responsive to any requests and made sure the menu was there for me to read when I came in the afternoon. The nurses were great, Sandeep was always diligent about checking is oxygen and BP and weaning him off both during the course of his stay.

They do not belong to a continuing care community. This retirement home is across the road from the assisted living community. It has a wonderful feel about it, very warm inside and with a lot of character despite being a new building. All of the residents are very friendly and often get together in the hallways and at social events sponsored by the facility. The individual apartments are wonderful condos, with plenty of space, high ceilings, and have modern amenities like a full kitchen, plush carpet, and washer and dryer.
